NAHSA hosted its Annual Membership Meeting in San Angelo, TX

at the Texas Agri-Life Research & Extension Service facility on July 9.

Approximately 30 members and guests participated in the outside

demonstration given by Frank Craddock (Sheep & Goat Specialist for

the Texas Agri-Life Extension Service) and Chad Coburn (Sterling

County Extension Agent) on the selection of hair sheep.  A question &

answer time followed inside with a 3-member panel which included:

     Philip Glass - owner/operator of Half Circle 6 Ranches

     Clinton Hodges - lifelong sheep producer in Sterling County

     Jim Thomas - owner/partner of Thomas Livestock

A catered lamb meal by Charlie Blanek, with lamb meat donated by

Sterling Lamb, preceded the general meeting.

During the meeting, three board members were elected/re-elected:

     Rob Bass, Gary Halfmann, and Randy McCrea.
